"Wow it's hard to get into words how amazing camping at windle house farm really is. This was our first ever camping trip with 3 young kids and a £10 tent so we were quite nervous about the whole thing, but there was no need as soon as we arrived we were met with a very warm welcome and shown the facilities and WOW I dreamt of a kitchen and toilet/shower facilities I didn't expect a absolutely spotless kitchen with washing machine/dryer, microwave,hobs and a toilet with a nice... hot shower in. I'd searched all the different routes and walk's around the area for us to do but after we got settled none of us wanted to leave the site there was everything we needed lovely views of the surrounding valleys and country side unreal view of the lake space to play game with the kids and just to top it all of donkeys in the next field for the kids to get supper excited about. We were the first to stay since the new facilities were put in and this is a hidden gem that we will definitely be using again and again. A**** "
